MEDETIN, a non-narcotic sedative and analgesic, is a potent α2 – adrenoceptor agonist
+ Composition
- Each ml contains Medetomidine hydrochloride 1mg
+ Indications
- Restraint, sedation and analgesia associated with clinical examinations and procedures, minor surgery and preanesthesia in dogs
+ Dosage & Administration
- Administer by I.M, I.V. and S.C.
The effect is most rapid after I.V. administration and slowest after S.C. administration
Injection of the drug can be repeated if necessary - For sedation Dogs : 0.01~0.08ml(10~80㎍) / kg
- For preanesthesia
– Combination with Thiobarbiturate or Halothane : Dogs – 0.01~0.04ml (10~40㎍) / kg
– Combination with Ketamin (2~4mg / kg) : Dogs – 0.04~0.08ml (40~60㎍) / kg
